  We are extremely pleased with the services and care provided by the Centre. They place patients as their priority rather than their own convenience or interest. Our girl had her removable plate put on by Dr Holmes when she was 7 years old as she was grinding one of her adult teeth. The whole process took about 6 months and the result was very satisfactory as she no longer grinded her tooth. She then had her annual checkup to ensure everything went fine. When she turned 12, we were advised she could start to put on braces as she no longer had any baby teeth. In deciding when she should start, we did some research, including reading about the whole process and talking to parents and children who already had braces. There were many horror stories, including not able to eat in the first few days after putting on braces, having ulcers all over the mouth, not able to eat certain food, etc. We are very happy that our girl did not go through the horrors of what everyone told us. Unlike many other orthodontists, she only had her top braces put on to ensure that she was able to adjust to movements and biting. We gave her some Nurofen in the first 2 days. After that, she said she didn’t need it anymore as she felt everything was back to normal. A month later, she had her next appointment to put on the bottom braces. She went through the same Nurofen treatment. She told us that she did not experience any of the problems encountered by other people. The whole process was painless. She was back to her normal life and ate normally very quickly. When our girl had her braces put on, our son also had to put on a plate though different from her case as he had to put on a permanent plate each at the top and bottom of the mouth. We were a bit concerned in the beginning as we thought he might be in pain or having problem eating. That wasn’t the case at all. He got used to the plates very quickly and was able to eat normally as if he didn’t have plates inside his mouth. We are very impressed with Dr Holmes for such painless and smooth procedure. We highly recommend this Centre to our friends and relatives as they really do care for their patients.

  We have been extremely pleased with the services provided by Carousel Orthodontic Centre. The reception ladies are forever helpful and patient, the orthodontists and other technical staff are fabulous. We are extremely happy with the level of continued care and the results of the orthodontic treatment. I have had two children cared for by this centre and could not be happier. All fees are explained and made clear before you start treatment and unless your child has excessive breakages there are no further costs that are not already outlined. Highly recommend, thank you Carousel Orthodontic Centre!
